Michelle is no Jackie, Nancy, Rosalynn or Laura: but above all, Michelle is no Jackie. Jackie would never let herself to appear so common, especially with Air Force One in the backdrop. There is a certain expectation, a certain responsibility to live up to those expectations and responsibilities of representing the President and the White House. Jackie understood this, and let’s just say that she understood it perfectly, for she was near perfect in front of the camera.
I am perfectly sincere when I say this – this is not a criticism of Michelle (though I am a tad embarrassed for her), nor is it wrong not to be a Jackie.
But it does have to do with the MSM recreating a new Camelot. The Camelot of John and Jackie is the stuff that dreams are made of, but dreams that fell too short. The essence of that dream still lies within the imagination of Washington journalists and media pundits. They have been in their 40 year wilderness, seeking Camelot, seeking the meaning of a political salvation to believe in.
But when the world saw Barack and Michelle – the MSM saw John and Jacqueline and the new Camelot. Thus they recreated the Obamas into the Kennedys and the couple from Chicago took their positions in the Camelot of Washington D.C..
All you have to do is go through all the magazine covers with Michelle: this is the Michelle of their dreams – but not the real Michelle. For she is not fashion: she is a radical leftist ideologue. She cannot be another Jackie, she seeks to be a Michelle who wants to further her husband’s desire of a socialist utopia.
Maybe this is her way of sticking it to the man – sticking it to the MSM. Maybe she is letting them know that she is not the Jackie of their dreams, but the Michelle of their nightmares.

Shorts actually fit the Obama administration perfectly I think because it clearly demonstrates the change they promised and are promising for America to look nothing like America since her birth in 1776!

How she dresses at ‘home’ or at her ‘vacation place’ is different…I guess. She (nor obama) will ever replace or give a good run to John F. and Jacquelyn Kennedy.

If a mother of three drags the kids out of the SUV on a hot day and heads into Walmart, this look is understandable, even if in every way lamentable.
But for our pampered Michelle Antoinette to leave a private jet in which she rode as its pampered queen and look this dishevelel and sloppy shows a lack of respect to everyone around her.
It’s not the shorts, it’s the scraped back hair, sloppy top, and open overshirt.
How can MSM continue to sell this woman as a fashion goddess. It’s unfair of them to lionize someone with such poor taste and so little to work with.
Just another example of no respect for the office!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have a free pass with the so called media, however WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE find it VERY OFFENSIVE. I am an American AND A CHRISTIAN. I dont find this “offensive”. I didnt vote for Obama, but for pete sakes guys….they are fellow HUMAN BEINGS and deserve to live a normal life..at least on their vacation. thats why its called a vacation. and the plane thing..well afterall being president does have some offer some extras, he and every other president has had the same .
