Obama trips through a doorway. Now I know we have all done the exact same thing. We have all felt the embarrassment, especially with folks around and their laughter on top of it. It can be a very humbling experience.
The laughter is there because it is funny. Perfect for slapstick, “The Trip” has been used in comedy bits since there were comedians and comedy bits. But when a person trips spontaneously and unexpectedly, when that person is, say, the President, and it’s done at the G-8 summit in front of international leaders – the “The Trip” takes on a life of it’s own.
To comedians, late night guys and liberal funny people, this is the stuff that dreams are made of. You can’t buy something like this – it’s a gift. So what do they do? They take that gift and run with as far as it will go. Some gifts just keep on giving.
So why have comedians, late night guys and liberal funny people failed to run with this gift? Think about it. If it was George Bush or Sarah Palin, all of us know exactly what would happen. It’s because, along with the MSM, they are fawning lackeys of Obama and participate in the fawning worship of “The Obama.”
One of the positive things of the election of Obama is that it has exposed them. The eight years of Bush bashing and the less than one year of Palin bashing has been exposed for what it is: a derangement syndrome. They are not simply entertainers: they are partisan hacks with political motives.
This is precisely why we must call attention to them by pointing out the President’s gaffes. We will do their job for them while exposing their partisanship and rancor.
There is another reason that we must point out the President’s gaffes: he is not God and it would be a good thing for folks to know.
