I guess it’s a purse. I don’t know, it’s one of those hand held things. But – it’s a $6,000 hand held thing.
Is First Lady Michelle Obama sporting a taste for ultra-expensive fashion pieces, or is she cementing her status as a savvy shopper?
Back in April she wore a pair of $540 Lanvin sneakers at a Washington food bank. Earlier this week (while strolling the wooded landscape outside of Moscow), she carried a sexy black clutch, which Italian luxury house VBH boasts is their shiny black alligator manila bag – with a retail sticker price of $5,950.

Purse denial? Purse denial? I hate purse denial! First there was bow denial - now this! The White House denies it’s the $6,000 model, but claims it’s the $875 model. The manufacturer affirms it’s the $6,000 baby. OK, so which is it? A $6,000 purse (I mean hand held thing), or a $875 hand held thing? Only Michelle knows.
I guess in the end – does it really matter? While Americans are losing their jobs, our nation and the rest of the world going through an economic downturn, both hand held things lack taste and commonsense.
But then again, maybe the hand held thing is a product of Stimulus money.
I seem to remember something about $500 shoes.

i hypervenilate if i spend more than 25 on a pair a wally world.

Wow. Good thing President Obama is one of those people who will be paying higher taxes now that he makes 250,000.00 plus a year. I see this as making up for Mrs. Obamas spending. Isn’t it funny how people are criticized for wearing expensive clothes when they use their money to buy it. I dont really expect anything less from her really. She has a image to uphold. After all if the humble Holy Father can wear gucci I suppose Michelle can have her Italian leather. Not like I dont have any.
I have no gucci or Italain leather. I am just a hard working “PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN” person like many others. Struggling to keep my head above water and paying my own way. The Obama family flashing their life style while he continues to tax us to poverty sends the wrong message to the people. And Speaking of $250,000.000 + in pay well to much for this economy.
who is paying for all of Michelle Obama’s shoes, purses, expencive meals, dates’ etc. If it is the tax payers then I am here to say I don’t make that kind of money. If Sara Palin had to pay back expencises for her children to travel while campaining then the Oboma’s should not get a free ride eather.
