I don’t know. I just didn’t envision my return to the Catholic Church after 30 years included taking crazy pills. I am not sure if anyone could imagine that Notre Dame, THE most visible Catholic university in America and maybe the world – would honor a pro-abortion president with an honorary degree and then display it’s kind of tolerance and understanding by arresting an 80 year old pro-life Catholic priest.
This is the new tolerance. The prevailing culture that is committed to tolerate anything except a pro-life Christian.
Notre Dame has made it’s intention very clear – to stand with the prevailing culture and to abandon it’s Catholic identity.
