Touchy, isn't he? His reaction to the tea parties is unbecoming a president of the United States. One of our most fundamental and precious liberties is the right to dissent. When the Dixie Chicks bashed George Bush in Europe during the Iraq war, Bush never criticized them. Instead, when questioned about it, his response was, in effect, this is America, and we have free speech and the right to dissent. This is a day and time of tremendous opportunity for conservatives. Hundreds of thousands of people protested in a respectful and beautiful way on April 15. That protest was quite a contrast to the typical liberal protest...i.e. anti- war, rights of gays, abortion rights...whatever they are angry about at any given moment. Let's get stronger and stronger, conservatives. We should be confident. My husband listens to a gentleman named Brannon Howse from the Christian Worldview Network. Mr. Howse does a great deal of reading and seems to be quite knowledgable about many of the problems America is facing. He warns frequently about the programs of Saul Alinsky and has also identified Obama with these ideas. SueG52 I have heard of Saul Alinsky. He needs to take his butt back to Kenya, where so many truly believe he was born, and not an American by birth. Oh, he needs to take his cronie congress with him as well.
