Mr. President: you can stop bowing now!
While Obama failed to even acknowledge the existence of the April 15th Tax Day Tea Party attended by over 250,000 (I think the number is higher than that) Americans nationwide, he now refers to them as folks waving tea bags around.
“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”
I hope the President will grow into his office sometime, though the hope is sooner rather than later. He is the President, the campaign is over. He is supposed to be the President of all Americans – even to those who disagree with him.
But this type of response from the left is very familiar. After all, we have seen intense ridicule toward the Tea Party thing from the MSM and other media outlets, even witnessing a reporter from CNN “freak out.” It does seem to be a reaction of a bunch of insecure babies, but there is more to it.
Rule #5 from Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
It isn’t just because the frenzied left is a nasty lot. There is a reason why they use ridicule. It is a planned response to belittle in order to make either people or an argument appear stupid, irrelivant, and outside of the mainstream.
Ridicule is an effective tool when your argument is stupid, irrelevant, and outside of the mainstream – such as socialism. This way you don’t have to get your but kicked in actually debating ideas – such as a free market economy.
Obama is a disciple (as is Hillary Clinton) of Saul Alinsky:
Obama never met Alinsky personally; the latter died when Obama was a young boy. But Obama was trained by the Alinsky-founded Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) in Chicago and worked for an affiliate of the Gamaliel Foundation, whose modus operandi for the creation of “a more just and democratic society” is rooted firmly in the Alinsky method. As The Nation magazine puts it, “Obama worked in the organizing tradition of Saul Alinsky, who made Chicago the birthplace of modern community organizing.…” In fact, for several years Obama himself taught workshops on the Alinsky method. Obama and his fellow agitators made demands for many things in the Eighties, including taxpayer-funded employment-training services, playground construction, after-school programs, and asbestos removal from neighborhood apartments. Journalist and bestselling author Richard Poe writes: “In 1985 [Obama] began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project. Later, he worked with ACORN and its offshoot Project Vote, both creations of the Alinsky network.” (In recent years, Poe notes, both of those organizations have run nationwide voter-mobilization drives marred by allegations of fraudulent voter registration, vote-rigging, voter intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams.) The Nation reports, “Today Obama continues his organizing work largely through classes for future leaders identified by ACORN and the Centers for New Horizons on the south side.” FrontPage Magazine
It’s important to know why folks do the things that they do. But the more important thing is to understand why you do the things that you do. Do not let ridicule from the left distract you. Use it to embolden you, knowing the reason why they use it: they are simply intimidated. The more effective you are, the more intimidated they become.
Intimidate them more.

This is so true, and most conservatives will not bow down and let Obama ruin OUR COUNTRY, if they and myself can do it. Obama and his evil cronies can say all the crap they want, fact is fact, and he’s not shown much thus far to protect OUR COUNTRY, and allow it’s freedom. Oh yes, he promised change, and he’s doing it, but not in the way most of his voters thought. Funny thing is, from my understanding, many Dem’s are agreeing with us so called Right Wing Extremists. The good ones, admit it, the ones that don’t, must be ashamed they voted for that evil man. He needs to take his butt back to Kenya, where so many truly believe he was born, and not an American by birth. Oh, he needs to take his cronie congress with him as well.
I have heard of Saul Alinsky. My husband listens to a gentleman named Brannon Howse from the Christian Worldview Network. Mr. Howse does a great deal of reading and seems to be quite knowledgable about many of the problems America is facing. He warns frequently about the programs of Saul Alinsky and has also identified Obama with these ideas.

[...] Obama is an astute disciple of the rules. If anyone cares to study John McCain’s campaign strategy, you will see that it worked. [...]
“Folks waving teabags around.”….how condescending! Touchy, isn’t he?
His reaction to the tea parties is unbecoming a president of the United States. One of our most fundamental and precious liberties is the right to dissent. When the Dixie Chicks bashed George Bush in Europe during the Iraq war, Bush never criticized them. Instead, when questioned about it, his response was, in effect, this is America, and we have free speech and the right to dissent.
This is a day and time of tremendous opportunity for conservatives. Hundreds of thousands of people protested in a respectful and beautiful way on April 15. That protest was quite a contrast to the typical liberal protest…i.e. anti- war, rights of gays, abortion rights…whatever they are angry about at any given moment.
Let’s get stronger and stronger, conservatives. We should be confident. Yes, we let our guard down, but we have the time and the tools to take this country back, and we will!

Obama ridicules Americans who disagree with him, but makes best buddies with foreign dictators who have previously vilified him and our country. Need I say more about how screwed up he is?
