UPDATE! 4/15
We just watched the six o’clock news. The coverage lasted about 15 seconds and the numbers of people reported who attended as in the “dozens.” Unbelievable!
UPDATE! 4/15
On a cold and rainy day, 500-600 people attended the Tax Day Tea Party event in the city of Toledo OH – including your modest blogger. I was pleasantly surprised – Toledo has been a town dominated by the Democratic Party and the special interests of the labor unions for over 40 years. The unemployment rate is higher than the rest of the nation, businesses have closed or left for greener pastures, and the roads are horrible.
My first impression is that this really is a citizen movement of regular folks – people who make this country work every day. They are people who were willing to brave the elements to make their voices known – to a government who has forgotten their voices.
Krissy with congressman Bob Latta.

I am a proud Papa! She really enjoyed the Tax Day Tea Party – I mean every bit of it.
She was a trooper: she let me use her pink camera to take all the pictures.
