UPDATE! 4/14
Check out Michelle Malkin’s request to track Tea Party Crashers! Tracking the Tea Party crashers By Michelle Malkin

Get ready for the 15th! If there is one thing that I have learned about folks on the Left: they throw themselves into a frenzy when they feel threatened. There is never an honest discussion about ideas – they just rather smear and spin.
There is another strategy: discouragement. How do they do this? They try to pick apart the message with ridicule – picking at something that is central to the movement. By doing this, they want to create an atmosphere of embarrassment: to make one feel isolated, different from everyone else.
Check out a couple comments made on my last blog about getting ready for the 15th:
Why would we on the left try to sabotage this when the factions are starting to splinter anyway?
You will meet, you will protest, you will hug each other and then you will go home.
Then next time you protest, pick a name without a cultural meaning like “tea bag”.
Will you please look up ‘teabagging’ in the urban dictionary? Dude, the rest of the country are laughing their asses off at you and your ‘teabagging’ parties.
See the similarities?
1) Notice the focus on the idea of the Tea Party by attacking “tea” itself, by the negative connotation of “tea bagging.” They must ridicule by name calling.
2) Also notice actual statements of discouragement: “when the factions are starting to splinter anyway?” and “the rest of the country are laughing their asses off at you.”
What do you say when you have an encounter like this with the Leftkind? You say that you’re feeling really good – they have got to be threatened to spew out this kind of stuff.
It’s not the tea bag you, well, I’ll be civil – it’s about the Boston Tea Party! You know, like, it’s about American History. Take a class.
Let this kind of thing strengthen your resolve to a higher level – get to a Tea Party event and bring folks with you. Let’s work together to make a statement that those “taxing fools” on Capitol Hill will never forget.
Come on “We the People!” Relive history – make history.
