Apparently, Obama and the White House takes Saint Patrick’s Day very seriously! Here is the President’s schedule for the day:
“A White House aide tells POLITICO44 that Obama (O’Bama?) will be hosting two St. Patrick’s Day bashes …
… at the White House Tuesday night.
The theme at the WH will be green all day. Starting at the top o the morning–or more like 11a.m. — Obama and Joe Biden will meet with the Taoiseach of Ireland in the Oval Office. A little while later, they’ll attend a Shamrock Ceremony in the Roosevelt Room.
After meeting with the Northern Ireland officials, Obama will travel to the Capitol where he will deliver remarks at Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s St. Paddy’s Day lunch.
Then, later in the evening, Obama will deliver the remarks at not one but two St. Patrick’s Day receptions at the WH, where he’s hosting Irish American lawmakers and other Irish Americans, a White House aide said.”
I love St. Patrick, and I encourage all to enjoy his day – I will! But please, let’s remind the President to take care of himself, not to over party, drink responsibly and get plenty of sleep.
We remember what happened the last time when he didn’t get enough sleep: he insulted British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and on top of that, gave him a bunch of DVDs for a gift. It ended up that the DVDs were not formatted properly for DVD players in England.
Being tired and all that, I can see that the gift of DVDs was the result of a last minute run to Wal-Mart. I am sure that if the President had plenty of sleep, he would have thought of a better gift – like an Elvis souvenir.
Oh, and about those St. Patty’s Day parties – Foriegn Policy reports:
“After the Gordon Brown debacle, you would think the White House would put a little more thought into planning for visits by visiting heads of state. But Brazil is already grumbling about the treatment of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who will sit down with Obama this weekend and is the first Latin American leader to visit the White House under the new administration.
Silva aides said the trip was pushed forward from Tuesday because of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday – making Latin America once again look like an afterthought. Then, the White House announcement misspelled his name as “Luis Ignacio” and put “Lula” – a nickname that decades ago became a legal part of the Brazilian leader’s name – in quotes.
I’m sure he’ll feel better when he gets his DVDs.”

It looks like he is proposing to ’save’ $540 Million (with an M) – while at the same time spending TRILLIONS upon TRILLIONS (with a T), giving BILLIONS (with a B) isn’t it? to ACORN and Hamas.
We all wondered how he was going to pay for all that Pork. Now you know. He’s going to take from those he doesn’t like and doesn’t value and give it those he does like and does value, ie: ACORN and campaign supporters.
He’ll reverse himself on this, mostly because the law will force it, along with public opinion, but TAKE NOTE. It tells you quite clearly what his mindset is, what kind of an animal he is, and it also shows you just how much you can trust his proposed Government Health Care Plan. When it becomes inconvenient or ‘too costly’ he will save money by betraying your trust.
People have to pay attention, they have to hear about this, and they most likely will not be hearing about it from Katie Couric. IF YOU READ THIS BLOG, or read Drudge, pass this information and the link on to others.

Excellent comment Rose! I had not yet read about Obom’s plans were about charging the vets! He’s so wicked! Right there in the white house is a traitor to all this country holds near and dear. The revolt continues to grow, and already the White House is beginning to squirm.
