Obama’s push for unrestricted abortion – FOCA is coming

Bookmark and Share

Obama has broken campaign promises in regards to transparency and earmarks. He has been exposed in his inexperience in dealing with Russia. But his dedication in pushing his agenda on abortion rights has been firm and aggressive. Barack is radically pro-abortion, and has proved by his actions that he is an opponent of a baby’s right to live, and the Culture of Life.

In less than 60 days, Obama:

1) overturned the Mexico City Policy put in to place by the Bush Administration. We are now promoting abortion globally with almost a half of a billion dollars in tax-payer money.

2) stacked the White House with abortion advocates. He has also nominated Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of Health and Human Services: who is just as pro-abortion as he is.

3) will sign the omnibus spending bill: the House and Senate passed funding for UNFPA (which provides funding for China’s one child policy). Yes, you read correctly – we are now in the business of paying for forced abortions in China.

4) rescinded protections put into place by the Bush administration, designed to protect medical staff and pro-life medical centers, who refuse to perform abortion because of conscience. So much for choice.

5) removed the ban on embryonic stem cell research, put into place by the Bush administration. We are now entering the Brave New World: creating life and destroying it with tax-payer funds. It must be said that the ban has never applied to the private sector. The use of adult stem calls has already been effective – this move is more ideological than actual science.

6) refused to invite pro-life representatives to the Healthcare Summit.

My heart is broken. What can one say, when you know something is going to happen, and then does – right before your very eyes? You watch everything, having to retreat further and further, agonizing that each time resistance is useless. You hate to retreat – how do you fathom that more and more babies will die?

But retreat is also a military strategy. You must live to fight another day. You must pick and choose your battles: winning the war is the important thing – don’t squander time, energy and people’s efforts on a battle you are going to lose anyway. But then there is the big one, the one battle that must be fought – the time when you use time, energy and people’s efforts to achieve victory.

The winds are now blowing that FOCA is next. The office of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has made it known that not only is FOCA is among his priorities, but the bill will be reintroduced ( he introduced FOCA twice before) “sooner rather than later.” Barbara Boxer’s office confirmed that she will introduce the bill in the Senate.

This is the big one. The Freedom of Choice Act is designed to remove any hindrance or limit to abortion – it will make abortion a fundamental right. This means that all restrictions on abortion will be removed: whether parental notification, waiting periods, or information that must be shared before an abortion is performed. Federal funds will be used to pay for abortion. All medical staffs and medical facilities must either recommend or perform abortion.

Thus will reverse all the accomplishments of the pro-life movement in more than 30 years. It will jeopardize the survival of Catholic hospitals, which make up 1/3 of all hospitals in America – mostly in low income areas where there are no other hospitals to provide care. All Christian and pro-life medical personnel who refuse to comply with it’s demands will be put out of business.

And in the end: the net result is that the abortion rate, the killing of innocent babies – will climb dramatically.

Please prepare for this fight.

1) Pray. We need the mercy and grace of God upon our country and to bless our efforts.

2) Purpose to be an information resource. Stick to proven news sources. Spin from Obama supporters and pro-abortion folks will be fierce. Cut through the spin, and present the facts to as many people as possible.

3) Build bridges. Most people in our country favor restrictions on abortion – and that includes people who are pro-choice. Pro-abortion zealots are a minority. Most parents wouldn’t want their 14 year old daughter get an abortion without their knowledge.

4) Be prepared that when all this begins – you must contact your legislators and encourage others to do so.

5) Determine never to give up and never get discouraged – I can assure you, the other side will not.

6) Prepare for folks to intentionally waste your time. Don’t get caught up in constant debate with a few – it’s designed to wear you down, and reduce your effectiveness. Stick to your message and keep moving forward.

7) Be prepared for the hate, by responding in love. This is the opportunity that the abortion industry has been waiting for: and they plan not to waste it. Always speak the truth in love – never sink down in the mire of hate and despair.

I pray that this will never come about, that it will never happen. But if it does, we must appeal to the conscience of our Nation, or maybe I should say that we must awaken the conscience of our Nation.

Please, let us work together now more than ever: to speak for those who are unable to speak for themselves, help those who are unable to help themselves, and stand for those who are unable to stand for themselves.

We must speak, help, and stand for those precious babies – and protect them from those who seek to destroy them before they are born.

  1. “Barack is radically pro-abortion…”

You would be hard pressed to find someone who is is “Pro-abortion”. And even those who claim they are are probably just trying to get a rise out of you. “Pro-choice” is much more accurate.

  2. What makes no sense, Jim, is that the very people who are so adamantly pro choice. These same people will fight tooth and nail for the habitat of the wood chuck or some crazy bird. This is messed up. They will fight for the right of someone to kill an innocent baby, but protect an animal’s habitat many times at the expense of our own human preservation.

  3. Jim. Just came across your post. I appreciate the depth of concern you have related to the abortion issue. There is MUCH evil in our global society. Abortion is only one. An equal evil are the millions of children dying daily from starvation, aides and other diseases with absolutely NO medical services or help. I just had a great aunt die and leave $300,000.00 to a local Christian school. All who attend the school are church kids from families who can afford to send them there. What could even that amount do in a place where they have NOTHING! I have a friend in Atlanta who works regularly in poverty areas of Mexico. Again, abortion is wrong. But those little ones go straight to the place of God. I don’t agree with the ‘poor little babies who got no chance at life.’ Aborted babies have ultimate Life with God. It’s the ones starving and dying from disease who are suffering here in this turbulent place we call ‘life.’ Each mother who terminates the life of her child with no crisis involved….should be held accountable….not the law. The law is not the sin. The intent of the law was for crisis situations….and those do happen. In America we blame gambling on the Casinos. We blame alchoholism on Beverage stores. We blame abortion on Roe vs Wade. Stop crying out about the law and start putting the blame where it lies….on the woman who uses the law for her own selfish purposes. I really like the common sense scripture below which reminds…because something is legal…doesn’t make it right.

1 Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Then, for the Christians, comes the age old problem of ‘ye without sin cast the first stone.’ And ‘get the log out of your own eyes so you can more clearly see how to remove the splinter from your neighbors eye.’

But with all the concerns related to abortion, gay rights and so forth…we do not need to stress out. GOD RULES! He continues to have charge over governments and peoples.

Da 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Da 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

Romans 13:13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God

Remember, Jim, God Rules! And He only can stop abortion…if He chooses. Abortion is just another Goliath. And ‘the batttles is the Lords.’ David didn’t even take a sword as he went out before Goliath. We Christians keep waving a swords and crosses….and we have absolutely no power to change Roe vs Wade.

1sa 17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.

The desire of my heart has gone up to God by way of the Holy Spirit….for ‘thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.’ He only can change the will of lawmakers. But if Roe vs Wade is never overturned, the fault is not in the LAW but with the mother-to-be who uses the law for her selfish reasons. I believe America and the world be see less evil if we had not, for so many years, placed the blame on inanimate objects….rather than placing responsibility square on the shoulders of the person who commits wrongs. Again, Casinos are not to blame for demise of compulsive gamblers. Alcohol is not to blame for a person serving it rather than right things. And Roe vs Wade is not to blame for murdered babies. Blame the murdered….not the gun!

    Again, enjoyed your heartfelt post.

    • Thank you for providing a good example of spin that I warned about! This is an argument designed to sell out the unborn, in the name of justifying voting for a rabidly pro-abortion candidate – and using Scripture too! Ah, you snake!

Your argument is actually morbid – you point to others in need that we must help (and help we should), but justify doing nothing about killing innocent babies because they will go to Heaven. I can assure you – if those babies had a choice, they would want to fulfill their purpose given to them by God and live!

Can you imagine, if you use the same line of thinking regarding child abuse? How about murder or rape?

What about Christians who were deeply involved in the Abolition Movement, Susan B. Anthony happened to be a Christian, and we all know Martin Luther King was a Christian. I guess we should have turned our heads when it came to slavery, tell women that of course they should not vote, and civil rights legislation wasn’t all that important. Oh my! We shouldn’t have enacted those child labor laws.

You forget that “We the People” are the governing authority: those elected are subject to us. Obama is hired to do a job, and is subject to “We the People.”

You are a snake: we can do something about abortion – because we already have! The pro-life movement with the help of Republicans have actually accomplished a lot:

      - the abortion rate fell to a 30 year low during the Bush administration.

      - Bush reinstated the ban regarding funding abortions through international family planning organizations – Obama removed this ban.

      - Bush banned federal funding of China’s one child policy and forced abortions – Obama removed this ban

      - On August 5th 2002, President Bush signed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act – Obama opposed this legislation, and therefore indorsed infanticide.

      - On November 5th 2003, President Bush signed the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act – Obama opposed this legislation.

      - On April 1st 2004, after a one vote victory in the Senate, President Bush signed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which recognizes a criminal act against an unborn baby.

      - Bush’s Supreme Court appointees in Roberts and Alito are of the highest caliber, conservative, and solidly pro-life.

This achievement, along with Roberts as Chief Justice, made the Supreme court more conservative, as evidenced in the upholding of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban and the Washington D.C. Second Amendment case.

This decision, along with his federal bench appointments, will effect the decades to come.

The Republicans in the 90’s enacted restrictions on abortion on the state level that caused the decline of the abortion rate during the Clinton years.

And then again – if we used your line of reasoning, we shouldn’t even have the Ten Commandments in the first place.

Oh, and by the way – David used a sling and a stone, killed Goliath, and cut off Goliath’s head with his own sword. Start reading the Bible.

Read Matthew Chapter 25 – I see your place among the goats.

      • Claps…. soo true, Jim,I had a pro choicer attack me on one of my other blogs on a different site. The truth is murder is a sin according to the ten commandments. You can try to justify it, change the wording of the Bible,…. There’s is simply no justification for aborting an innocent baby.

“Remember, Jim, God Rules! And He only can stop abortion…if He chooses. Abortion is just another Goliath. And ‘the batttles is the Lords”

In regards to this quote, internet alias, I would also add that God uses people to accomplish his will, and he empowers them with victory. Abortion is a Goliath, and ultimately the battle is the Lords. We believers in God’s Word are His army, and he sends us into this battle clothed with righteousness and truth. The truth is that Abortion is murder thus it is sin, and against God’s word. So we wield this sword of truth in the name of the Lord God of Hosts, and WE WILL CUT OFF THIS GIANTS HEAD.

  4. Wow! You actually call people snakes and wield swords of truth here! What century are we in?
